The following table (Table 2) shows the eligibility for various qualifying disciplines to various M.Tech. Programmes. Programme vs. eligible disciplines info is available in the subsequent table (Table 3), along with additional requirements.

Further Requirements:

ZE/ZS candidates must attach a complete list of courses taken by them during their degree programme. They may be considered for admission to the streams relevant to the discipline of their qualifying degree as decided by the M.Tech. Admission Committee. If they are considered, they may have to take suitability test.
Candidates with GATE score in XE/XL paper must take suitability test for all eligible programmes other than AE1 or CL1.
Candidates with degrees obtained through Distance Education/Correspondence Mode must take test/interview for all eligible programmes other than AE1, CA1, CH1 and NE1.
In case of the candidates with additional requirements for ME1, ME2, ME3, MM1, OE1 or OE2 programmes, only the candidates whose GATE score is equal to or higher than the Cut-off, given in the Table below, will be shortlisted and called for Suitability Test. At the time of application process, the candidates shortlisted for Suitability Test will be notified.
